
As you travel through the book, turning page after page you find that many hours have passed, sucked into this twisting, turning novel of suspense. It is not until Sophie finds the sign ‘DIG HERE’ that the story of Tallulah and Kim really starts to unfold. Despite Tallulah only being 17 Kim is adamant she would never run away from her life and responsibilities. Everyone seems to think Tallulah has run off with her boyfriend and left her son Noah behind, but Kim knows her daughter. This book jumps smoothly between the past and the present allowing you to see what happened to Tallulah and Kim, her mother trying desperately to figure out what happened to her daughter. Gripped from the first chapter all the way until the final page. WOW, what a book! Having read one of Lisa Jewell’s books before, I knew I was in for the ride of my life.
